This is not a drill! I repeat this is not a drill! Kmart have released a toy vacuum that might actually make our lives a little bit easier.  According to Kmarts website, they are giving us a sneak peek of a toy vacuum that is coming soon to online and is equipped with real suction to pick up dirt. Our followers have informed us the Kmart toy vacuums have already landed in store, below we will let you know what they think.

Toy Vacuum Suitability

In the product description, it says that the toy is suitable for 3+ years due to choking hazards from small parts. The description also states that it is a toy intended for role play only. At 76cm tall it seems like the perfect size for those little mess makers in your household.  However if you anything like me you are imagining a life with clean floors and where children can clean up after themselves.

What’s Included With The Toy Vacuum?

The toy vacuum will also come with multiple attachments, an easy-open dirt compartment and realistic sounds and swirling action because let’s face it what’s a vacuum cleaner with the realistic sounds.

The toy vacuum also comes with the 3 required 1.5V AA batteries.

Feedback From The Motherhood Unplugged Audience

The general consensus from our audience is definitely that of excitement, I mean what parent wouldn’t appreciate some help with cleaning the house.

Mickaylah said:  “It does work!! But really only a tiny bit. Well for us it was cat fur haha.”

Zoe said: “It DOES work 🙌🤩 miss 2 followed me while I vacced and this is what she sucked up with hers ……. best $25 I’ve spent in a longggg time” and provided the below picture of what was picked up by the toy vacuum.

Jess said:I love that it isn’t just marketed to little girls and there is a boy on the box.”

Melissa said: “I love that the person on the front is a boy too, not just the stereotypical girls do housework thing.”

However Not All The Feedback Has Been Positive

Courtney said:I bought one for my son and I don’t think it sucks up any dirt at all.”

At a low price of just $25 I don’t think we can really expect a whole lot but if it picks up some of the trails of crumbs left behind by my little one then I’m happy.

Have you managed to get your hands on one yet? If you have we would love to hear your feedback in the comments section on what you think of it?
